Our Story

Dustin and Silver's love story began in the heart of Central Washington University's Ellensburg campus. As tour guides, their infectious smiles and shared passion for helping others drew them together amidst laughter and shared experiences. Their friendship deepened into love in the spring of 2015, but graduation sent Silver to Tacoma, leaving miles between them. Yet, their connection remained strong, fueled by late-night calls, weekend visits, and heartfelt messages.

Fate intervened when Dustin landed a job in Bellevue, bringing them closer. Shared laughter over countless meals, exploration of hidden gems, and cherished traditions became the cornerstones of their future. From the bustling streets of London to the sun-kissed beaches of Tampa, each adventure deepened their bond, etching unforgettable stories onto their hearts.

Nine years of laughter, challenges, and unwavering support laid a solid foundation for their next chapter. During a morning walk on a Seabrook beach in 2022, Arlo by their side, Dustin knelt down, forever changing their lives with his question. Tears of joy filled Silver's eyes as she said yes, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with dreams of forever.

Spring 2023 brought a turning point as they found their forever home in the quaint neighborhood of Tumwater. Owning their own piece of the world filled them with joy, and they wasted no time settling in and creating new memories. As they look forward to September 7th, 2024, and their wedding celebration surrounded by loved ones, their hearts overflow with gratitude for the life they've built together and the exciting future that awaits them as husband and wife.

When do I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 3, 2024 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.  
If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible. 
Any unanswered invitations after August 3rd will be marked as “No” as we will be sending final headcounts to our vendors after this deadline - you will be missed! 

Can I bring a guest?

In short, no. When you RSVP, you'll be able to indicate the exact number of guests allowed for your invitation and family. Thank you for understanding. 

What is the dress code?

Think backyard garden party! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and looking fabulous. Ladies, cocktail dresses, skirts, and blouses are perfect. Guys, suits or dress slacks with a button-down shirt and tie will look great. Nice jeans are also welcome if paired with a blazer or a nice shirt. Since the wedding will be on grass, ladies, please skip the stilettos and go for wedges, block heels, or flats. Get ready to have fun and celebrate with us in style!

Dustin’s parents, Kevin and Shelly Ritchey, have graciously offered their home as our wedding venue. 

What time is the wedding?

5:00 PM 
Please plan to arrive between 4:30 PM - 4:45 PM for enough time to park and find your seat. Drinks, dinner and dancing will follow.

Where do I park?

There will be parking available at the Ritchey residence in the front of the house. Please plan to arrive between 4:30 PM - 4:45 PM to ensure enough time to get everyone parked safely and find seats on time. 

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, we will have an open bar serving a selection of beer, seltzer, and wine. Just remember, the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! Please plan accordingly and have a safe way to get home.
